CISCO SALES ENGINEER
up to $130K +
What you will be doing:
- Provide technical and sales support (demos, evaluations, and training) for Enterprise Networks.
- Must have demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.
- Strong problem solving skills; ability to assess a problem and determine and effective course of action.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced demanding environment.
Direct account and partner responsibilities:
- Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
- Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
- Assist in the development of formal sales plans and proposals.
- Participate in product requirements & direction.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS/BA. CCNA or CCDA required. ATSP, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE desirable.
- Experience: 7-15 years with Cisco related product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.
- Pre-Sales technical support experience required.
- Extensive travel (30-40% overnight stays).
- Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in the following areas: IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VoIP, IP Telephony, VPN, Security, 802.11 WiFi, Remote Access, Voice/Video, LAN/ WAN, Transmission systems.
