MARYLAND - Baltimore

LMR/PSMR ENGINEER NEEDED

2 Positions - can work out of Maryland or Georgia – Up to $150K:

What You will be doing:

  • You will be the in house LMR SME Engineer for a premier global company.
  • You will be designing and implementing complex Public Safety IP Based radio systems according to scope, schedule, and budget.

What you need to qualify:

  • 8 plus years current LMR/RF Engineering Experience (Note: This is not a Wireless position)
  • 800 Megahertz experience –Public Safety Communication Systems
  • Experience in P 25 Trunked Radio Systems
  • 5-10 Years experience in radio system design and implementation
  • Experience in large scale LMR Settings and RF System settings.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Able to pass a background check.

Considered Huge Pluses:

  • Trunked Radio System experience including IP Networks, Microwave RF Subsystems, and or peripheral systems
  • Experience in WLAN Dispatch Centers and VoIP
  • Master's degree plus all of the above will get you an immediate interview!

Some Notes/Details about our Client:

  • Awesome client prefers local candidates to the Maryland area, but will consider DC and VA area candidates as well as others.
  • If any candidate possesses the ideal skill set outside of these geographic areas, the client may offer relocation assistance.
  • They may even offer this position as a Virtual Traveling position where a candidate would dispatch from home IF the candidate is stellar and fits the ideal criteria for this job.
