NATIONAL GUARD DEFENSE COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST: Salary to $125K
What you will be doing:
Working with a small group of "the best of the best" analyst/engineer's in the business. The successful candidate will be part of a huge initiative involving Joint CONUS Communications Support Environment Program. Working with Coast Guard, Army and Air Force in the areas of networking, communications, IT systems, wired and wireless communication. The successful candidate will be evaluating all of their communications systems to achieve full integration and connectivity with Coast Guard, Army, and Air Force. What experience/qualifications you will need to apply: NOTE: TWO DIFFERENCE POSITIONS
FIRST POSITION: "hands on" technical skills that will directly supporting National Guard states in putting together architectures and designing integration strategies for their domestic response communications assets.
Qualifications: Experience in architecture, operations and support of Army/Air Force deployed communications/ad hoc networks; Army communications systems, especially highly desirable experience with:
* JNN/WIN-T ( Joint Network Node/Warriors Information Network - Tactical )
* Air Force communications systems
* TDC ( Theater Deployed Communications )
* JISCC ( Joint Incident Site Communications Capability )
* National Guard deployed communications/ad hoc networks in support of domestic emergencies
SECOND POSITION: candidate would have solid analytical skills that would be supporting the National Guard Bureau and eventually other DOD clients with research/analysis/recommendations/reports on Army/Air Force communications systems capabilities and programmatic implementation.
* Familiarity with same Army/Air Force communications systems as above.
* DOD acquisition process/DOD Program Management
* DOD PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution System)
BOTH POSITONS: Ideal background/qualifications:
Has served on the Joint (J6)/Service Senior Staff (CIO/G6, G3 or G8) at the Pentagon preferably working on the same Army/Air Force communications systems mentioned above or on other tactical communications systems.
