.NET PROGRAMMER ANALYST - Columbus, OH - Long term Contract - Great Hourly Rate:

What You Will Be Doing:

The Sr. .Net Programmer Analyst will be assisting with the creation of new .NET applications, support newly created applications recently moved to production and support applications currently in production and in a *maintenance mode*. This position will not be allocated to any specific .NET project, but instead will augment the existing .NET team with daily activities.

What you need to qualify:

  • 8 yrs. experience total as a IT Programmer
  • 5 years experience as a Senior .Net Web Developer.
  • 5 years experience using ASP .Net, Visual Basic 6.0., and .Net experience utilizing C Sharp (C#) and VB.Net are required.
  • 5 years experience with SQL Server or Oracle 9i Database Design.
  • 2 years experience with Windows Form Development in .Net 2.0 as well as 2 years verifiable SQL Server Data Conversion experience.
  • 1 year exp. - Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Design using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Web Services experience as well as 1 year exp. creating and processing XML files.
  • At least 6 months exp. SQL Server 2005 or 2008 Reporting experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to deployment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies and recovery (Team Foundation Server preferred).
  • 3 years experience working directly with end-users to define requirements and provide technical advice and assistance in a large-scale environment.

Note : Selected candidates will need to be available Dec. 8th - Dec. 14th for in-person interview with client in Columbus , OH . No phone interviews will be conducted.

Some notes about this role:

This is a 2 year contract position with the possibility of being hired on perm at the completion of the contract. Great hourly rate: $30-$35/hr with truly a great client. Awesome experience to add to your credentials. This position is not capable of telecommuting. All candidates must have a clean background. US Citizens and Green Card Holders are welcome to apply.
