3 QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYSTS TESTERS CONTRACT 11 MONTHS 35/HR-W2, 45/ HR-1099/Corp-Corp:
Two (2) years experience in web-application testing techniques on a large enterprise application using Quality Center and QTP. The candidate must have strong SQL and Oracle knowledge. Knowledge of the MS Office Suite and TOAD/Aqua Studio/equivalent is also required. Crystal Reports development experience is a plus. Candidates must be detail-oriented, well-organized, possess good written & oral communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well in a team environment. Candidates with a good business background in the Transportation Logistics field and knowledge of financial processes will be considered first. These candidates will be expected to learn a freight-forwarding application and become an expert in testing the application and communicating issues.
More specifically, candidate must:
- Architect and design test automation frameworks in collaboration with the Testing team and Development teams in QTP & Quality Center workflow.
- Possess strong SQL and Oracle knowledge. Knowledge of the MS Office Suite and TOAD/Aqua Studio/equivalent is also required.
- Design and architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy testing requirements.
- Develop functional/regression automated testing solutions using QTP, traditional QTP framework, and/or data driven techniques.
- Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and maintain test scripts using a framework for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
- Create and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications.
- Research new technologies, develop cutting-edge automation and provide product enhancements and/or recommendations when necessary.
- Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as manual, integration, system, regression, load, and acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
- Coordinate with software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
- Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Freight forwarding and transportation applications background is a strong plus.
Note: Crystal Reports development experience is a plus.
