SENIOR ENGINEER CISCO IP TELEPHONY $75K-$90K:
Job Overview:
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for engineering voice, data and network systems for clients. This includes primarily implementation skills and support for a diverse client base.
What You Will Be Doing:
Working with some of the best Cisco Engineers in the Business! This position will be responsible for system support of all elements of Cisco IP telephony solutions which includes Call Manager, Unified messaging with Unity Voicemail, Cisco voice gateways, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory configuration. The Senior Network Engineer will demonstrate strong customer-service skills with various clients and co-workers, provide network implementation, disaster recovery support, and VOIP engineering.
What You Need to Qualify:
Technical Skills :
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco Internetworking and IP/Telephony Systems.
- Exposure to Cisco Routers/Switches, Sniffers, Data Shapers, Protocol Analyzers and VPN Technology is required.
- Knowledgeable with Current VOIP, Cisco AVVID products including, Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, Cisco Voice Gateways and Cisco IPCC a plus.
- Candidates should be familiar with MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, and BGP a definite plus.
Current Active Certifications include:
- CCNP, CCDP, CCVP preferred and Cisco IP Telephony Specialist are a plus.
Successful candidates must have working knowledge of voice, data and networking systems.
Experience: A Minimum of 5 years as a senior level engineer required.
