UNIX/LINUX REDHAT ADMINISTRATOR Charlotte North Carolina Up to 85K+:
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining systems that support data products and services as well as taking a technical leadership role in the group
- Administer all aspects of an advanced, distributed computing environment supporting a variety of services including web hosting, web based applications, DNS, email, ftp, directory services, disaster recovery, and similar Internet related services.
- Assist in planning and coordination of system utilization, perform growth analysis and capacity planning, and perform system and application design and analysis and advanced programming to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
What experience/skills you need to qualify for this position:
RedHat Linux is MANDATORY!!!!!!! - CentOS is a Huge Plus!!!!!

Data Circuit Skills and Experience: Prior experience with data services for any CLEC/ISP/Web Hosting Services – Voice circuit people cannot be considered

Internet Web Hosting Applications: E-mail, FTP, HTTP, Advanced TCP/IP; C; HTML, CMS, SMTP, & DNS

Scripting: Linux, Apache, MySQL , Shell Scripting, Perl & web programming
Other Wish/Must haves:
- BS degree in computer science or related area, 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Drive, motivation & determination to be part of a unique team & grow with the company.
